Ukrainian Council of Churches Delegation Continues Advocacy Visit in the United States

Ukrainian Council of Churches Visits Washington, D.C. On April 30–May 1, 2025, a delegation from the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations (UCCRO), one of UCSJ’s key partners in Ukraine, visited Washington, D.C. During their visit, the delegation participated in a roundtable at the Niskanen Center on U.S. policy and its implications for Ukraine, and attended the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Medal Award Ceremony at the U.S. Capitol. They also met with Archbishop Timothy Broglio, President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, to discuss Russia’s abuse of religion in occupied territories, the persecution of religious groups, and the abduction of Ukrainian children.
