After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2024, UCSJ, together with the religious community of Turei Zagav (Golden Rose) offered support to forcibly displaced persons in the city of Lviv.

This assistance program continue to provide internally displaced persons with hot meals, children’s and adult clothes, medicines, psychological and information support.

Up to 200 displaced people receive free food daily.

Displaced persons who came from the war zone or from the occupied territories need shelter. We have an information center in which we provide advice on how and where to recover lost documents, issue a certificate of a migrant. We provide information about shelters where people can live for free, about medical facilities and international organizations that help displaced persons in the territory of Lviv.

With the onset of cold weather, more and more people, taking into account the difficult living conditions, need warm clothes and blankets. We try to at least partially satisfy their needs. We provide blankets and warm clothes to displaced people. A laundry and bed linen service is also provided, If necessary, a lawyer helps displaced people by providing advice on the livelihood of internally displaced persons.
