Alex Khariton
Mr. Khariton is the COO of SKCCC and an Adjunct Professor at the Jefferson College of Health Professions. He has been with Jefferson since 2012.
Mr. Khariton’s responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and implementing service line strategy for Jefferson Health, in addition to financial and operational oversite of all enterprise oncology services at the NCI-designated comprehensive SKCCC. This includes the integration of existing services across the enterprise and development of new patient services, as well as management of physician practice and hospital operations for the Medical, Radiation and Surgical Oncology Departments, research operations and the clinical trial office.
Mr. Khariton Chairs the Radiation Safety Committee for the institution and serves as the hospital representative for the PA State Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Additionally, Mr. Khariton serves as a member of the Patient Support Advisory Council for the American Cancer Society (ACS), member of the Code Utilization and Application Committee for the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), formal board member of the Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators, and participated in the ASCO/COA Certification Pilot Team. He earned his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business Leadership Development Program.
